What is this Checklist?

So we were able to send the new I-864 yesterday with the handwritten name of the Petitioner( my husband). We called NVC today and they updated our case saying there was an error blah blah blah ( we already rectified it). And it said something like if we don't receive a checklist in 4 weeks we have to call them. It is in my understanding that after we sent the corrected form they will review case and complete it in a few days (as the lady operator had said) then it will be forwarded to the US embassy here in the Philippines. then I will receive the packet 4. So what is the checklist? Please clarify.

We didn't wait for the checklist to arrive anymore we just sent the corrected one right away and just wrote the case number on the upper right hand corner. There was no coversheet either. My husband sent it to the same address where we originally submitted the papers (NVC). Do you think this will be a problem? The lady operator advised us to not wait for the letter anymore.

Usually, RFE response is sent with coversheet. Since the operator suggested you, wait and see what happens...lets hope of the best. You should hear either ways within two weeks tops.

cheers
