I I just want to cross check if I got it right before I write it in my calendar.... I entered the US on Jan 13 2008 with a 2 years (CR-1) visa. I have to file the I-751 90 days before my green card expires right? around october 2010.

Thanks I'm freaking out, now that I'm finally here I don't wanna mess it up...

thanks

If you possess a conditional card you will need to removed conditions. That may be submitted for processing within 90 days of the conditional card's expiration date. Good luck

If you entered on Jan 13th 2008 the your Greencard should expire on Jan 13th 2010 so you can file for removal of conditions 90 days before that.

October 15, 2009.... that is when your 90 days start....

I know how you feel about not messing up:-). Don't worry - you'll do fine. Just set aside a box right now and every time something comes in - ie insurance claims, letters addressed to the two of you, etc. just put it in the box. That way when it is closer to the time to remove conditions, you just need to sort through the box, select what you want to use, copy it and send it off with the application. It is a lot easier than having to search for it two years worth of stuff later:-). I am assuming you file the more regular stuff like utility bills by date, so it is also easy to go through and select a few of the relevant documents from each year as well to use.
