The schools here are crazy! They change the dress code everytime someone does something they don't like. My sister said the principal came over the intercom and gave them a 45 minute lecture about how it wasn't fashionable to wear jeans with holes in them and that he thought they should have more class than that! Also, he said something like I don't know if it's a competition between the girls for who can show more of their underwear.

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

When I was in Christian Private School I dyed my hair blue like some teenagers do during a phase. Needless to say they didn't have a reaction nor suspend me but the next year they did make a rule that all student must have natural colored hair only. In fact I did a few things that made a few new rules at that school. What can I say? I grew up in Austin and was going threw my teenager phase. eh.

A 6yr old being suspended for this is a little OTT. I suspect there to be more to the story than this.

We had that rule at my middle school. The funniest part was that the black principal had red hair.

I thought this was about the Mohawk Nation. I think the boy's coiffure looks lovely!

Yeah, I don't why the school would make issue of it.

:)

I agree. Especially if this is a public school. We have a dress code at my school that applies to hair styles (natural colors, etc) but mostly we worry about the girls exposing breasts and the boys pulling their DARN PANTS UP. But then again, our mission statement says something about teaching modesty, so we'd be remiss in not pushing for that.

However, we don't nitpick on the hair. Though we did have to ask a boy with a mohawk to trim his hair because kids couldn't see over it
