hahaha. I think someone is taking Hillary's tailspin personally.

What a naive idiot:

McCain questioned whether Obama was aware of the al Qaeda base. Obama's response was: "There was no such thing as al Qaeda in Iraq until George Bush and John McCain decided to invade Iraq."

Well he isn't really wrong to say this. That group didn't have a strong prescence in the country until the war created a power vacuum.

Shhhhhhh. It doesn't matter who created the mess......

All you need is a modest house in a modest neighborhood

In a modest town where honest people dwell

Not now it doesn't. But I have to wonder about the folks promoting a pull-out, how realistic that really is.

Of course - its not as though we're in a very good position either way.

Which is what a lot of people saw coming from the start. Its not hindsight either - it was all depressingly predictable from the get-go.

Just like I said, McCain leading Obama down the road of inexperience. McCain's gonna pwn this poor guy!

Time will prove, but it is not going to be easy for either of the candidate.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

Strong or weak, doesnt matter. He said last night he wants out but is willing to run back in if needed. I'm thinkin, what a fool. If thats is position just stay and finish it. Throwin troops around like chess pieces? This guy is such a rookie.

When is it finished? Would you support a tax hike in order to pay for what could be a decades long deployment?

The half a trillion already spent on the war is mostly money borrowed from other countries. Which has weakened the dollar and has thus made many of the goods we buy more expensive, since we import most of it.

You can like the war all you want, but paying for it on credit is unsustainable. We will either have to put in place a tax increase, or pull out.

According to the source he didn't say he wanted to run in and out, but to downsize but reserved the right to surge again as necessary. That doesn't really seem to be the same thing to me. Regardless, I am not particularly enamoured by any of the candidates stance on Iraq not even McCain's.

Obama also said the money spent on the war could be spent on other things. I think the boy is out of his head. I thought to myself Spending is spending. He mentioned spending it on windmills and shite in ohio. green collar jobs

Indeed. Whatever happens - this mess is going to be an inherited one, the effects of which will be felt many years down the line.

Not sure what can be done personally - there's no magic wand that can be waved to fix this.

How can anyone say "I can't wait to see [candidate x] fail" at this point? I mean, it's not even spring yet. How can you hate any of the candidates?

McCain is slimier and dirtier than most people know, and a lot more conservative than some people want to believe, IMO. But Jeez, I don't hate the guy!

And if Hillary gets the nom, I'm ready to back her up. I want Obama, but if it doesn't work out that way, the minute Hillary gets the nom, I'm forgetting all that and supporting her.

I agree. For me, I wouldn't too disappointed if it was any of those 3. Any of them will do a helluva a better job than Dumbazz.

Neither! Cut government spending and we would save BILLIONS!

So when Bush downsizes then surges it is equally irrational? There is a big difference between complete withdrawel of forces and reducing forces. I don't think that's too difficult to understand.
