WOW, SO MUCH TERRIFIC INFO. MY LADY AND I WILL BE SIGNING PAPERS TOGETHER FOR A K1 APPLICATION WHEN I VISIT PERU THE FIRST WEEK IN APRIL. SEARCH AS I MAY, I HAVE NEVER SEEN A POST DESCRIBING THE WAY ANYBODY PACKAGES THEIR 129 PACKET. BY THIS I MEAN, DO YOU STUFF IT ALL IN A MANILLA ENVELOPE WITH A STAPLE OR PAPERCLIP? HOW ABOUT THOSE SHINY PLASTIC POCKET/3 RING BINDER PAGES? OR A $5 REPORT FOLDER? DO YOU PUT A LARGE PICTURE OF THE TWO OF YOU ON THE FRONT COVER? IS THERE A RIGHT OR WRONG WAY TO PRESENT OURSELVES? MAYBE THIS WILL OPEN A FLOOD GATE OF CREATIVITY THAT WILL GRAB THE ATTENTION OF THE GOVERNMENT DESK JOCKIES, OR MAYBE I WILL LEARN THAT ONLY THE MOST PLAIN PACKET IS ACCEPTABLE. EITHER WAY, THANX FOR YOUR IMPUT.

Everybody seems to have a different way of sending in their information.

Have you read through the guides???

You can read more about the internal processing on this thread from a former adjuticator.

btw... we'll be filing in April as well!

good luck!

Aside from the guides, USCIS also offers advice on how to assemble the I-129f package. Plus, there are numerous threads discussing this! You should conduct a search on this site as you'll return numerous results.

One specific word of advice from me, is NO staples!! Not one!

I used ACCO clips, 2 hole punched the top of each page, and bound it all in a manila folder. For the passport photos, I used a clear envelope for each set. I organized everything into sections divided by a piece of colored paper and included a front page that told exactly what was where.

I then went to the UPS store and paid $11.00 to make 2 bound copies every single thing I ever sent in, everything my fiance had to collect, color copies of all pictures, 2 to a page, receipts, plane tickets, letters, phone bills, copies of my passport pages..........EVERYTHING.....up until the interview.....1 copy my fiance took to the interview, 1 copy I kept at home.

We added all AOS stuff, and will add LOC and naturalization.

Neat, organized, and ready to produce when asked. My theory is always to overwhelm them with paperwork (turnaround is fair play, right?) It's worked like a charm thus far.

I posted a couple of minutes ago the document checklist for the interview just to give you some sort of a guide. Now, this is the answer to your question. I placed it in a transparent folder with the name of the petitioner and beneficiary, address, email and contact numbers on it. I used roundhead paper fasteners and placed two holes at the top of the pages. Airline tickets organized in order of dates according to the travel itinerary, photographs (2 x 2) labeled with the name and placed in a small plastic bag, photos as proof of having met in person was labeled at the back with date taken, location and name of persons in the photo of course with captions in the front, placed in a plastic photo organizer and taped in a piece of paper. Printed phone records and highlighted specific calls. The whole application packaged was prepared neatly, orderly and completely.
