Just wanted to post SO has his interview this morning and he just said everything went GREAT. Of course he got the usual 221g for additional processing and was told they would call him in maximum of one month. He got the blonde lady and said she was nice. He said all the Consular Officers are actually very nice. She questioned him for about 20-25 mins, asking same questions multiply times in different ways (thank God I prepared him for that). She asked pretty much the same questions everyone asks.

How did you meet

When did you meet

How many times did she come see you

Do you have any pics

How often do you speak on the phone (daily and slide phone bills to her)

What is your phone number

Do you have any other numbers

He pretty much gave her his life story in 20 min :lol: . After she handed him the paper and told him it was normal and not to worry, that is was just for more processing in Washington. He did ask her 2 more times if everything was ok, that please he HAD to tell his fiance something when he leaves. She said for him to tell me that everything is just fine.

So I am extremely relieved this is over and now I can go get some sleep. :wacko:

Congratulations Carrie & Simo! I'll have to tell Abdel when he gets home from fishing tonight. Once you get here you guys will have to come to Savannah some time so Abdel can take Simo fishing too. My brother is even teaching him how to fillet the fish, so we have fresh caught fish for dinner sometimes.

I'm really happy you guys will be together soon, but then again, I didn't doubt you'd fly through this process easily - you're such an adorable couple it would be easy for anybody, even the consulate, to see how perfect you are for each other.

This is great news! And I am so glad that you are handling the AR as well as you are. Its a little frightening when you don't expect it, so it is obvious you were well prepared. It shouldn't be much longer now.
