NVC sent packet to Wrong Embassy

We have had our application approved and was sent to NVC and we found out that it was forwarded to the wrong

embassy in Canada....Has anyone had this happen and if so what did you do???

What do you mean that it was forwarded to the wrong consulate, which one was it supposed to go to, and where did it end up? Perhaps contact the consulate(via e-mail to their IV unit, referencing your NVC case #) where your petition is at, and see about how to forward it the correct consulate.

I would imagine you could contact the embassy where your package was delivered and simply request they send it to the correct embassy. Might cause a bit of a delay, but they should do it with no problem. And since it was their fault they may even act on it quickly. The key is contacting them immediately. I seem to recall something similar happening to another member over a year ago and they were required to contact NVC as well as the embassy, but they resolved the issue with little time lost and no harm done.
