Well, I don't quite agree with that statement either.......Must be worded wrong again. Everyone going through this process sees their own relationships as very meaningful.

quite right.... I'm betting that even the people who would say the process was smooth for them would say that their relationship would be more meaningful had they had more hardship along the way.

Hmm, I think you're saying the same thing I was.

I actually read the topic of this thread again after posting and realize what got everyone jazzed up initially. "our relationsnips mean more: AP survivors" taken by most to mean that AP survivors' relationships are more meaningful than those not put through AP.

However, I took it to mean that after going through AP they felt their relationship meant more to themselves than it had before the AP. (not a comparison to anybody else at all)

I never said that others don't find their own relationships meaningful too. Only that this poster was having a difficult time and felt their relationship had grown stronger for surviving AP.

I'm thinking the OP's intentions weren't to say that people suffering through the wait of AP have more meaningful relationships than anyone else, just that their own relationship becomes more meaningful to themselves. I think it was just worded in an awkward way.

I wouldn't pick on someone going through this. It's extremely painful waiting longer than everyone else and the uncertainty of the outcome has got to be nervewracking.

exactly!! I think people are waaay to sensitive geesh!! Just because someone thinks highly of the situation that they are in, or the way the path that their life is on, doesnt mean that they think any less of yours! In all fairness they probably could care less about yours, so you taking offense to their statement about their OWN life is ridiculous.

I took it to mean that the OP is very tired of waiting in AP hell. Thank goodness she doesn't come across as a bland a$$-kissing hack who tells people only what she thinks they want to hear, whether they want to hear it or not.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
