Don't worry. Even if they put 221g, that means get some more material evidence. If we get them and give it to them, then we are through. We can also take example of Jigi who fought back. That's inspiration when it comes to worst case/situation. So moral here is don't panic. They can only put some obstacles in path, but they cannot prevent us. That confidence should see us through.

My two cents.

Careful, there are two types of 221g letters issued. There's the "we can't issue you a visa at this time....more evidence is needed, more administrative processing is needed" type AND then there's the "we can't issue you a visa at this time....your petition is rejected, we're sending it back to the service center w/ a recommendation to revoke." The former constitutes a delay(shorter or somewhat longer, depends on the case) in being issued a visa, WHILE the latter is more serious in that it constitutes a rejection.

OP - Do not stress. Just because someone has been denied, it does not mean the same thing will happen in your case. If you have all yoru evidence, if you have your paperwork in order you have as much chance as anyone else to get approved. The key is to be calm, and honest.

Good luck,

-P

What was she doing in medical office after rejection? may be she does not have medical reports ready or all other evidence needed for on going relation ship, that could be the reason for 221(g)?

No, she met her at the medical office and then they kept in touch. So she called her today after her interview and found out what happened...

Any info on the details of the 221G i.e, info requested?

We only know about the first one:

1. hotel bills

2. catering bills

3. photographers bill

4. more emails

5. more phone records

6. more photographs

7. names and addresses of all parties who attended the engagement.

We have items 4-7 down pat and already submitted, we submitted more than we should have...i think most people who dont do VJ just submit 1-2 photos and a few emails..

We are more concerned about 1&2, but my fiance spoke to the catering person and he is going to give us a bill, the hall guy said he can provide the embassy his name and email and phone and they can contact him, he confirmed that the photos of the party clearly show that it is the hall and they can inspect if they want. I am not saying they will ask us, but I am just preparing...

I am also providing my bank statements showing me withdrawing cash to pay for it.(They need to start using checks more in India).

For the second one, I heard that her fiance had flown down from US as well.
