We have our interview date of March 6, 2008!!! His packet 4 was sent today and I was able to surprise him with the news for Valentines Day!!! We are so nervous and excited all at once. I will be going for the interview, in shaa Allah. Any last minute advice is always appreciated.

Thank you. We are so nervous and seriously hoping to be one of the lucky ones with short AP time, in shaa Allah. We did have a name hit at NVC and it was cleared up and our petition sent out in a months time, Alhamdolellah. So additional checks would be up to the embassy at this point. We've waited 4 years for this... Good luck to everyone still waiting and those getting ready to go through the interview process....

June 11 05-Married George, civil ceremony in New York

May 30 08-Baby Joshua was born

Jan 15-Back to NY we go...

May 10-made decision not to go back overseas.

July 10-filed for divorce

Jan 11-Divorce final

July 11-1st trip to take Josh to see George

Mar 12-2nd trip to take Josh to see George

no advice cause i think you guys are ready for that step since 4 years ago

GOD bless you both and inshaallah he will pass the interview and you will get short ap inshaalah

and remember they will not allow you to go with him to the interview window

Im not sure of that...someone else had an interview in january in Cairo...and she went to window with him..both were interviewed...i have email confirming i'll be allowed...maybe its changed...

I was allowed to go to the window, thought the person talking to us wasn't the official interviewer. They never questioned my presence at all.
