08/25/2008 = Package arrived in Chicago

08/26/2008 = Check cashed

09/02/2008 = NOA1 for EAD and AOS received in the mail.

I was thinking about how they should really call this "ten traits that might keep you out of debt."

The only thing that makes you rich is being born that way or extreme luck and ingenuity combined.

I was thinking about how they should really call this "ten traits that might keep you out of debt."

The only thing that makes you rich is being born that way or extreme luck and ingenuity combined.

I think it comes down to (like all things class related) how you define 'filthy rich'. I define the term as someone akin to a Brunei sheikh... in which case these ten traits won't cut it.

I believe if one had all ten traits, a comfortable life would probably be pretty much guaranteed. No debt, a few vacations a year, no worrying about the bills. Which is what I would think what most people really want. Right now if my heater dies I will have to worry about where the money comes from. That's not 'comfortable' and getting there is the goal. Just my 2 c.

Yeah. I know what you mean. My wife and I are both very comfortable, maybe too comfortable, with our lack of comfort :P

03/2007 - K1 approved

04/2007 - Apply for AOS & EAD

07/2007 - EAD approved

01/2008 - Conditional Residency approved

11/2009 - Apply to remove conditions

02/2010 - Permanent Residency approved

11/2010 - Apply for Citizenship

03/2011 - Citizenship approved

07/2011 - Moved back to Brazil

In regards to money, the only thing I don't do is take risks. Too bad the discipline trait doesn't translate over to other parts of my life!

I wish. When my 4 relatives die, there will be nothing but angry bill collectors calling us asking where their corpses are located to call and probably six liens on their houses we didn't know about. GO LEGACY! Woo hoo!!
