What is my status?

I went through the marriage process and am curently in the waiting process for AOS, EAD and AP (Already had my biometrics taken)

When people as me my status am I a Immigrant (Resident Alien)? Non-Immigrant (Non-Resident Alien or Visitor)?

The reason is because I am trying to get my drivers license, and really don't know how to declare myself.

My answer is tongue in cheek, so no offense, please!

When people ask me who I am, I quote one of the indigenous characters on M*A*S*H. When asked to prove who he was, he pointed to himself and said "This is me!"

fwaguy should be correct, though. Until approved, you're still a non-immigrant.

Im confused, in your opening post you were waiting for AOS, so it is correct to say non immigrant awaiting adjustment of status. If you received your GC in the last few days then you are now a permanant resident.
