That doesn't make sense because the NVC has to review all documents that are sent to them and if they're not in English, how are they going to know that they are correct. They have to have translations.

The 2 photos is new though.

Guys, sounds weird but it cant be a lie, cause I asked yesterday about that for form DS230 and person that I talk with said is some change started from Jan 1st this year. After that my husband called and he got the same answer. Now, reading your posts I doubted and called again for comfirmation(triple,lol)....and....I got the same answer. If the country where the official language is Spanish dont require translation, something that is recently changed. If they llie to me I lie to you guys.

So, me and my husband decide to send the next form DS230 without translation and we will see what is gonna happen. :D

It could be true. I had a similar experience with the IRS. In order to get a ITN for my spouse, I had to submit a certified copy of his passport. He got the certified copy from the nearest Chilean Consulate (he is Chilean citizen with LPR in Canada) and the certified copy was in Spanish. I called the IRS and asked if a translation was required and was informed they don't require translation from Spanish, other languages they do, but not Spanish.
