MSC First then to CSC?

Hi,

I needed some clarification. I understand after Chicago Lock Box, the AOS application goes to National Benefits Center (MSC) then if they decide to transfer to CSC or local office. But some people here say that from Chicago it goes straight to CSC. Can anyone verify this?

Thanks

Mine also just went from MSC to CSC. Funny, I always thought MSC stood for Missouri Service Centre. Why isn't the National Benefits Centre called NBC? that's a rhetorical question...

MSC is the same thing/place as NBC.

As for clarification on the workflow - one memo USCIS put out stated receipt notices would come from MSC, and later on directly from CSC (if they were to ultimately be transferred). I havent heard of any NOA's out of CSC for family based happening at all yet , so I am going to go with they stuck with the same workflow:

Chicago---->MSC------> Local Office *or* CSC
