Hello

I have a question. My fiancee has learned from other women who are pending NOA2 that they sent email

to the California Service Center (CSC) and the next day they receive notification of their NOA2 was approved.

I have a id for the auto updates from the USCIS, but does anyone know the email address for the Vermont

Service Center (VSC) to send an email request to check on status of NOA2? I could not find the email address on the

USCIS site.

THANKS

I tried that email address and sent an email and received this message

You have emailed an inactive account.

If you are inquiring about the status of documentation you have filed with USCIS, or have a complaint relating generally to the nature of the customer service you have been provided by USCIS, please use our National Customer Service phone number 1-800-375-5283 or visit our website at www.uscis.gov.

If you are a CIS employee and wish to file a complaint regarding credible allegations of criminal misconduct or of very serious misconduct by a USCIS employee, guidance can be found online at htttp://osi.uscis.dhs.gov/. Credible allegations of minor but significant misconduct should be reported directly to the office where you believe they may have occured.

From NVC, we got an email stating that our NO2 reached them and they'd be forwarding our case to the Embassy within a week. Later, when we were not sure if the petition left NVC or not, my fiance contacted them using this address

NVCINQUIRY@state.gov

He got a reply about a week later that our petition was recently forwared to the Embassy. I hear though that people often call to check on the status of their petitions. It's hard to get through but it's possible...

Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 AM (EST)

Tel: (603 334-0700).

Oh, one more thing, after your petition is approved and forwarded to NVC, you don't need to login USCIS, it will give you no info. As soon as the petition gets to NVC, it's assigned a different number and unfortunately you cannot track its status online.

GOOD LUCK!

You CANNOT reach USCIS by e-mail....I know it's hard, but you have to be patient, calling won't do anything either.

Thank you for this information and please forgive me..but what is "preminum processing" it appears they only want you to call or

write if you have this...

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR INTERVIEW DATE!!

Unfortunately, I'm not sure what's the 'premium processing' myself. But this is if only you call to Vermont SC. You can use USCIS phone number and can ask them about the status, etc. The only thing is (as I read in some other threads) that they may not give you any info that soon - it seems that your case has been under review for only 3.5 months. They usually ask to call not earlier than after five months, believe me or not! On the other hand, hey, we got our approval in four months, so you must be close, too:) I hope you are...

Thanks for your greetings:)!

Premium processing is the ability to pay extra for expedited procesing but it is a moot isue as I-129F's do not qualify for this service

YMMV
