Nope, no wedding month picked yet. We've talked about nearly every month from October till next February. I think we'll be closer to choosing a month once we get P3. The time from NVC mailing our things till P3 seems to vary quite a bit, but once you get P3, it moves along pretty well.

I hope we can have the interview in july or early august. Personally, I'd love an October wedding, as it can be beautiful here in the fall, and not too terribly cold. We'll just have to see how long it takes GUZ to process thigns.

What about you?

Brian

You are absolutely right, Brian! It is hard to believe sometimes, we maybe only half way done...

Do you have a wedding month picked out?

Good idea waiting on P-3 ( thanks) and like you said, I will not know how long it will take for NVC. This could be the variable?

Maybe I am dreaming, but I hope to have them both here by late August.. with school starting right around the corner?! Good Luck.. see you on CFL too!

Well...you are the sponsor. Your brother is the co-sponsor. So the co-sponsor's relationship to the sponsor is "brother."

Whoops! When I typed the I-134 out for my dad I put in the box: Relationship to sponsor: My Son's Fiancée. I already sent it to my fiancée. The good thing is if we cross out the 's Fiancée part it will just say my son!

India, gun buyback and steamroll.

You are referring to question #3: This affidavit is executed on behalf of the following person.....It asks for the beneficiaries name, address, etc. and also asks for the RELATIONSHIP TO SPONSOR. They are asking for the BENEFICIARIES relationship to the sponsor/co-sponsor. In my case I should have put MY FIANCEE'S FATHER but in your case, you should put MY FIANCEE'S BROTHER. (But I think this box is the least of the consular officer's concerns out of the entire I-134....They are only concerned with the tax returns)

Woohoo! Isn't it all very exciting now? :D

You have no idea! Oh wait...yes you do. :D

Bonus that there's only 1 DHL package going to Moscow today, so I even know my DHL tracking number. More numbers for me to obsess over is always a good thing. :D

The NVC stage was an absolute treat. Knowing exactly (well guessing exactly!(?)) where your petition was in space and time. Wonderful. I remember it fondly.

Hey, what is up with that? Mine arrived on the 27th and they said it was shipped on the 29th. I checked dates from the 27th through the 29th and there is not a single package going to GUZ China. :(

My petition is on its way to Moscow as of this morning, woohoo!!!

Ahhh, many thanks! I certainly would have never thought checking for a B side.

As for awaiting clearance, I am pretty sure that GUZ doesn't accept the package until they are ready to open it and send P3, and that can be 3 months later. This is really great to know, because I'll be able to see when they finally accept it and are ready to send P3. I'll also be able to check other dates to see how far behind they are.

Brian

Did you check EXP 28 FEB 2008B? There is a shipment to Guangzhou, they usually go on the B pages for some reason. Shipping ref 9356810562 arrived on 2nd march awaiting clearance.
