after RFE,how long to wait for the change in my status online?

we sent our RFE reply last jan.16,2008 then its been 10 days already pass but my case status online did not changed yet...how long will it be possible for my my status online will be changed?

replies are highly appreciated...thanks

Am not sure your status will change - but typically you would get a 'touch' once they process your reply - I can't imagine at least that taking terribly much longer.. :thumbs:

Am not sure your status will change - but typically you would get a 'touch' once they process your reply - I can't imagine at least that taking terribly much longer.. :thumbs:

When you check your case status online - there is "Last Updated (mm/dd/yyyy)" field - any time your file/case's bar-code is scanned (meaning something was done) this date changes. It only shows the most recent 'touch' though. :thumbs:

i checked my status now but i cannot see there lats updated...which part is that can be seen?im sorry i have alot of questions...i dont know alot about this...thanks karin

My N-400 timeline, I hope it will help - Local Office (Chula Vista Field Office - San Diego)

10/01/2010: Application was sent.

10/04/2010: Application was received.

10/06/2010: Email received "Application has been received" & Noticed Date.

10/07/2010: "Touch"

10/08/2010: "Touch" & Check was Cashed

10/09/2010: NOA1 Received via mail.

10/22/2010: Status Changed Online "Request for evidence" It was for Biometrics.

10/25/2010: Request for evidence recieved "Biometrics Notice".

11/18/2010: Biometrics date ==> 11:00AM. Biometrics was taken On time.

12/03/2010: "Yellow Letter" Received.

12/06/2010: "Touch" Case Moved to "Testing and Interview".

12/08/2010: Interview Letter received via mail.

01/13/2011: Interview Date. Done, " Thanks To ALLAH, I Passed the Test.

01/18/2011: Oath Letter was Sent.

01/20/2011: Oath Letter Recieved via mail.

01/28/2011: Oath Date. ==> Done, I am a U.S. Citizen

01/31/2011: Applied for a U.S. Passport Book, And, U.S. Passport Card.

02/25/2011: Passport Book's Received.

02/26/2011: Passport Card's Received.

02/28/2011: Certificate Of Naturalization's Returned.

Game Over.

I just had my RFE process and visa approved. The RFE was filed on the 7th of Jan but they didn't say it was back in processing until the 15th and then approved on the 23rd. I'd say wait a week or two.

I-130

6/6 - Sent I-130

6/21 - NOA1 Received date

1/23 - Touch (cmon just approve already!)

1/23 - Approved (still not updated on USCIS website)

1/29 - Received hardcopy letter in the mail.

I-129

7/2 - Sent I-129 form to Chicago

7/20 - NOA1 received in mail (Rec. Date 7/6)

8/7 - Case transferred and pending at CSC

12/4 -TOUCHED!!!!!! (we didn't call or anything so I hope this is legit)

12/11 - RFE Email Notice Received (Waiting for snail mail)

1/3 - Back from India and sending off two pics of my wife since CSC lost the last two. (Approval next week please?!)

1/14 - Back in business. RFE response received at CSC and back to processing.

1/15 - Touch

1/23 - Touch (Please...)

1/23 - APPROVED!!!!!! best 3:30 am wake up call I've ever gotten on my phone.

1/29 - Received hardcopy letter in the mail.

2/4 - Received notification from NVC (dated 1/31) that my petition has reached them and will be sent to the consulate!!!! Almost over!
