left out info on job history...question!

Hey guys. Question:

As it's tax time, a thought came up. When listing my job history for the petition, I left out a little part-time job I had for less than a month in summer of 2007. I left it out because I thought I wouldn't be taxed on it cuz it was so little, and I didn't want to get the place in any trouble with the government. Anyways, now that little job called and they want my info so they can send me tax papers...

I'm worried that since I already filed petition in november, will the uscis find out about this "left out" info and deny us because I "lied"?

Please, any info will help...to at least ease my mind.

Thank you!

I don't think that would cause a denial. I think the worse case scenerio would be an RFE, but probably not even that- just my opinion. :)

Thanks. I hope so

Hmm that makes me think now. When I look back at my application.. I left out several jobs. I was in college about 2 years ago, and always had odd jobs. I just put my "main" jobs, and of course the full time job I've had since I graduated...

Is this something I need to worry about?

Probably not...

I called a visa lawyer, and the lawyer said that it's not a big deal. What matters is when you file for aos. You cannot leave anything out about the benificiary during that step, since they will be the one immigrating here. Other than that, they just use the petitioner's info as a background for an idea of the kind of person they are... do they have constant employment, do they not work a lot, etc.
