The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

Anyway, I've talked to our leasing people and I can have a top floor apartment that's 100 square feet larger than the one I have now for $80 less in rent per month - bargain!! :yes:

Been really busy trying to get things ready for Christmas. Normally I am really organised but this year it's all kinda crazy. We have our tree now and loads of dollar store decs (some are a tad on the tacky side but it's better than nothing ;) ) we even managed to pick up some cheap bookshelves so I have emptied some more of my UK boxes and our living room looks a little more like someone lives here now :D Our tree is a real one - I hope it doesn't grow too much over the next month as it is already pretty big!! We are going to decorate it tonight :)

Feeling really bitty at the moment - like I have loads to do but don't know where to start because all the things that need doing are little annoying things you only remember sporadically - it's driving me nuts :wacko:

Very cool, pointy! Sounds like fun!! Rubbing elbows with the stars. Here, I just stayed in and watched reruns of Law & Oder SVU that I'd not previously seen and chalked that up to a pretty good night. :P

well sure rubbing elbow... not really, there were around after but just for a photo op, and then off again. But it sure was fun.

I cannot hear the words Law and Order without also hearing the dun dun in my head, you know the bit of music between the scenes. lol
