Can anyone tell me.. Has there been anyone approved for k1 at Csc so far this year?. I have been checking through timelines and I don't see any, maybe Im just missing them!..

Jerely, Mox: there are actually more than 18 approvals or more than in that site. I know few people who have e-mailed me that they are approved but they haven't updated their timeline. I am unfortunate one though, no approval yet. I am getting really impatient....

Please encourage your friends to update their timeline. It helps us all!

And don't worry, it seems like CSC are getting to the end of the July list. You're on deck!

I just read in another post from someone that called CSC, they said they are currently processing K3 apps. Take it for it's worth. I just looked at the K3 timelines and there were 2 approvals yesterday. Hope that is what the slowdown is.

Mox, what are you going by in terms of dates? If you go by NOA1s there are quite a few...... Saokun & David - august 23rd Christine & Nick - August 28 are the most recent as of monday.

I'm going by sent date because there is so much variation in how people interpret NOA1 date. The way people *should* be interpreting it and entering it on their timeline is the received date that USCIS put on their letter. But numerous people are putting the NOA1 notice date, which can vary wildly. For instance, my received date is September 13. My notice date was November 2, about 6 weeks later. But I should not be considered a November filer.

Saokun & David are a perfect example. They sent their packet in July 28, and their NOA1 date is August 23. I doubt that it took almost a full month for their packet to get to the CSC. Christine and Nick are the same way. Both of these filers almost certainly entered their notice date instead of their received date.

It's possible that they are still technically August filers if their files took more than 3 days to be received by CSC. Either way I'd call them "cusp" filers. They're either at the very end of July or the very beginning of August. In any case, the only date that's reliable at all is the Sent date, because people are going to be pretty accurate about when they sent their package.
