in other news, we got an RFE today :(

but not for the medical stuff, as I thought we might; they asked for Dave's tax returns and pay slips to prove income... they weren't mentioned in the checklist here on VJ, but I guess we should have thought to include them... :angry:

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

CONGRATULATIONS SUSI!!!! the greencard will arrive sooner than you think!

@stp: I just checked the coverletter that we sent with our AOS #######, and we included them. It won't be a biggo though, just put them in an envelope and you should be fine!

I just cooked dinner and we'll sit down now, eat and watch the debate.

oh, did I mention that I went to the dentist and that I need 2 crowns??????? HELP :help:

my insurance would cover for half, but it would still be 1000!!!!!!! :wow:

tell the republicans about your gripe with the insurance, because most of them believe that we are saving money by having a private system :blink: ....no wait, actually most of them simply argue that getting rid of the private system would make us a socialist country *GASP* i sometimes wonder if they know what the definition of propoganda is?

Well at least it is something easy to sort out :) I must say I was expecting a medical RFE by now but it has been a month since I had biometrics and I still can't even see my cases online :angry: Who knows what is going on with mine?! :lol:

Ouch - that's steep :( I'm dreading getting into a routine of dentists and opticians and things here... I don't think it is even going to be feasible until I have a job at the very least...

In other news - my things from the UK should be arriving in port tomorrow! We have nowhere to put it all and goodness knows where I will stick it in time for the hallowe'en party!! The boxes might have to make extra table space! Ohhh I really hope some people make it!!

Total bummer on the RFE. At least its an easy thing to gather and send in, so hopefully it won't hold you up too much. :)

09/26/2008 - AOS transferred to CSC

09/29/2008 - AOS touched (took out envelope at CSC and put in new pile)

oh, and I had biometrics yesterday; reasonably quick and painless :)

so of course, it was the ONLY step in the sorry process where I was offered a comment card :lol:
