and I like all those reasons, but when there are dickhead drivers out there who don't look out it worries me

yea, riding a bike is awesome, but very troublesome in urban environments like nyc...i feel so bad for the bike messengers

I'm not sure that I do. I feel like at least half of the time they are the dangerous ones (if you're a pedestrian, that is). And it's not that I have anything against the bikers; Scott is also an avid biker. I'm going to worry about him a lot when he's commuting on his bike when he's here.

ah, sorry about the RFE, that stinks. but at least it can be fixed easily. i did the paperwork myself, but it took eric 10 days to give me the W2 forms.......

oh, but good news (sorry for making you envious) MY EAD AND AP GOT APPROVED (basically the last one of the february filers who got approved though....).

yai-hay! now i only need my EAD card before thursday (that's when my EAD stamp expires....)

P got his visa Saturday and he bought his one-way ticket. YAY. 2 months. Not a lot of time for him to complete all he needs to complete. The good news is that we've read occasionally the Blaine border crossing gives the EAD stamp, which would be LOVELY!

The RFE has now been sorted. I received it yesterday and will mail everything they need back to them today so it shouldn't hold things up for too long.

they are dangerous, but considering how hard it is to even walk in the city, i feel for them on those bikes

Great news!! I've updated the spreadsheet as well Let us know when they turn up!! I am sure you can pull some strings if you don't get the card before Thursday

I am starting to get very nervous about moving to Indiana (What if I hate it? What if my apartment is terrible? etc etc) I can only imagine how nervous you guys are about moving to the USA!!! ahhhhhhh where is that dang 'running around like a madman' smiley???

Yeah - I'm beginning to freak... I think the worst part is the waiting because all you can do is worry - it's a nightmare!! I'm trying to be excited too but...

But what if you will love it and your apartment will be beautiful? And if it won´t you can decide to change an apartment anytime It will be much easier to look around once you are already there Think positive

Oh Marta - I wish I could!!! I don't think I can stop worrying! About the only thing that takes my mind off of it is work

I meant it from the practical sense anyway really - I can't deal with the emotions and homesickness and things until I get there, so in the meantime I have to just try and not feel rubbish!!
