Timeline

Hi.

I entered on a K1 visa last month and married last week. we have the following to send in and was wondering if there is anything else we need?

I-485

I-864 and I-864A

I-131 (travel document)

I-765 (work visa)

I-693A supplement by a civil surgeon

G-325 A

2 photos

copy of passport page

copy of K1 visa

copy of birth certificate

copy of I-94 in passport

copy of police certificate

supporting financial evidence

list of contents

letters i received in england stating i had been approved for a fiance visa

A cheque for $1,010 (we were told by uscis that working visa and travel visa is free when applying for I-485)

is there anything else we may need to submit before posting it off? many thanks in advance to anyone that helps!

I would send in originals of your birth certificates. Don't forget to include your tax statement for the last year. 3 years is better but not required.

I would not send originals of birth certificates. I sent copies of all required docs, and will bring them to the interview or provide them if requested.

Maybe if you have extra original docs, and never want to see them again, then go ahead and send them. But copies are the way we went.

For some reason I thought photocopy. So long as they are official documents and not photocopied you are fine. Sorry for being unclear.

ok to the post , this is what I send , ( I included things thats not needed when you send the applications , but they ask at the interview in hope once they see it i wont need a interview )

Contents include:

I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status

▪ Check: Payment in the amount of $1010 (Biometrics fee included)

▪ Copy of Form I-797 Notice of Action (Receipt Notice)

and Form I-797C Notice of Action (Approval Notice)

▪ Copy of international Birth certificate ( with english Translation )

▪ Copy of passport all pages, with nonimmigrant K1visa

▪ Copy of form I-94 (front and back)

▪ Copy of Marriage Certificate

Copy of Divorce ( from previouse Marriage )

▪ Medical form I-693A

▪ Form G-325A, Biographic Information Sheet

▪ Two (2) passport size pictures

Copy of Joint Bank account

Copy of Appartment Lease

I-864 Affidavit of Support

▪ Federal income tax return, including W-2’s for the years 2004, 2005, 2006

▪ Copy of Checking and Savings account balance

Copies of documents submitted are exact photocopies of unaltered documents and I understand

that I may be required to submit original documents to an Immigration or Consular officer at a later date.

30 Nov 09 Check Cashed

21 Dec 09 biometric

On March 9, 2010, we ordered production of your new card.

12 March 2010 received approval letter in mail

16 March 2010 10 year Green Card received in mail exp date March 09 / 2020

April 14/2017 send N400 

04/25/17 credit card charged 

04/25/17 e mail NOA send 

05/01/17 hard copy of NOA dated 04/25 received in mail

05/06/17 biometric hard copy in mail 

05/19/17 Biometric appointment in Hartford CT 

07/17/17 Inline for Interview 

07/24/17 Interview letter in mail 

08/24/17 Interview in Springfield MA ... Yes Aproved

09/14/17 Oath Ceremony .... done I am a US citizen

09/22/17 Applied for Passport ( per reg mail ) 

10/04/17 got passport in mail  

10/13/17 got certificate in mail  , updated status with social security office 

AM DONE YEAHHHHHHHHHHH
