Hello,

Its now Jan 10, 2007 and we NOT have received NOA2. I keep checking the USCIS website, but all its says is PENDING. I see other september filers have already received their NOA2. Welcome and have a peek at THE LIST

Although applications are roughly processed in order of receipt this is often more a case of luck of the draw.

Try to be patient, it's likely that your case will be dealt with sometime this month.

Welcome to VJ!!!

I really wouldn't worry until they start a steady approval of people from like, November, or until you pass the 6 month mark. A lot of people are waiting more than 4 months for approval, I am sure yours is right around the corner :)

BTW, I used to live in Saudi :)

If you look at the timeline, the estimated adjudication date for your petition is at the end of Febuary. Its still subject to change though. With your finance from Saudi Arabia, you may end up in AR or AP at each point in the process. Which could take days to months of extra waiting.

Yours is the first I have seen. I do have a friend that went through the K1 process in Saudi but she is not a Saudi though, she was just living there.

I wish you a speedy journey. Good luck!

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

The adjudication date on your timeline is basically a VJ estimate of the earliest time a USCIS officer will get to your case. It is based on VJer timelines.

AR/AP (Administrative Review/Administrative Processing) is just basically additional processing that is done. If you go to the MENA forum there are lots of posts about that there and people going through it. It seems to happen to people (mostly men) coming from MENA and some Asian countries. It can take a few weeks or more and there is no limit to it.

My friend got approved with no problems. She said it was quick and painless. But like I said, she is not a Saudi citizen.
