Hmm...I wonder if this sort of situation might contribute to bringing back a Victory Garden type of era. Or maybe just get more people growing things with fewer expensive chemicals. I'd like that.

Then again, I've encountered at least one person who was suspicious of my home-grown vegetables and wouldn't eat them, and one person who actually gaped at me for plucking and putting fresh basil on my spaghetti, apparently appalled that I was "eating leaves."
