Only US Citizen attaches a copy of their US Birth Cert, Naturalization Cert, OR full copy of US Passport (All pages including cover). This is done to prove US Citizenship, only US Citizens can file form I-129F

Never send originals of birth/marriage/divorce certificates - always copies.

Good luck in your journey.

USCIS no longer routinely requires submission of original documents or "certified copies." Instead, ordinary legible photocopies of such documents (including naturalization certificates and alien registration cards) will be acceptable for initial filing and approval of petitions and applications.

well, you know wile i was in the states and my fiance and i were trying to find out what's the list of the documents we need to send, we've been at the federal court and got a list from there and from another institution also, and from both places we were told you need the beneficiary's translated birth certificate also.

Personaly i think if that's not necessary, it's always better to have more than less.

You decide!

good luck

but it just has to be either birth certification or the complete passport right but not both?

that's only for the US citizen either the passport or the birth certificate
