It may take two tasers for O'Reilly he is a big boy.

He does have the most watched show on cable news more then doubling the ratings of his competitors, somebody must like him.My mother watches him everyday without fail.

Since when did common sense everyday American values become such a joke to you people. My problem with him, is he is too populist and liberal on some issues for me.

yawn. if this had happened on a left wing talk show with a republican guest, the talk show host woulda been labeled as "truth seeking" "aggressively reporting the news" and other laudable labels.

Do you really believe that?

yes. had some left leaning talk show host done the same with say ####### cheney, people would be jumping up and down and cheering for that host.

basically it comes down to who is the host and who is the guest as to how someone takes the news. that's all. i don't watch o'reilly nor care to listen to him. i read one of his books about 1/3 of the way while doing shift work - it was my reading material while doing a tech data dump - it seemed quite fitting for that task too.

And as far as I know, and have read, he "moved" an arrogant Bama stage hand/flunkie that decided to obstruct the view of a FOX cameara, intentionally and confrontationally (according to Secret Service witnesses) and disrupt legit news coverage at an Obama rally....not behavior condoned by Obama, as Obama apologized to Oreilly directly after the Secret Service escorted Oreilly to speak to Obama about the incident.

My husband used to watch O'Reilly a lot. But, after watching a few of O'Reilly's shows, I asked my hubby not to watch it in our bedroom anymore. I've seen a few episodes where O'Reilly bullies his guests to the point of rudeness. One show that really struck me the most was when he had a lady from the Candadian embassy and he was bullying her about some Canadian policies. Even my husband agreed that he had overdone it that time.

There are some issues that he does make a good point. However, I think that his methodologies hurt the issues more than help.

I like O'Reilly. I don't agree with all of his points - but he often makes a good case. Besides, it is his show and he can run it anyway he wants. He is certainly entertaining.

I didn't think you were going to change the analogy completely by switching gears to Cheney.

As far as I'm concerned, if a prominent newsperson pushes his way pass staffers to get to their target, he's an a$$. I don't care if he's left wing, right wing, or featherless.

Well there doesn't seem to be much meat to this story to begin with, so internet rumours on top of internet rumours doesn't really do a whole lot.

That said, its the kind of thing O'Reilly or indeed any ambitious newsman might be expected to do.

Give it a day... The story was reported on ABC, and of course FOX. The stories are similar and describe the same set of circumstances.

Some low level Obama goon decided that FOX news wasn't worthy of covering his boss....I'll bet he's no longer employed by Obama as of tonight.

first one that came to mind. pick one of your choosing then if you don't like cheney being used.
