I am in the US so I checked part d,is that correct???

Oh yeah and Part 3: Date of Intended departure..I filled in unknown,I dont know when I have the money or even want to fly to Germany. Will that be ok?

I am wanting to travel outside the US to see my family from time to time in Germany thats all I need this form for.

Thanks a bunch.

I think you want "a" there, even if your AoS hasn't been approved. Not sure though.

Knowbody got any idea???

I've just recently received my AP documents. Yes, you tick "d" as you have done. I also put unknown for date of travel etc, but I stated why I wanted the AP in my letter. I have elderly parents back home and I wanted the AP in case there was an emergency and I needed to travel without it affecting my AOS.

Is there a sample somewhere of the seperate piece of paper explaining how you qualify for advance parole? I'm not sure what I'm supposed to write on this paper.

When you apply now for your AOS, you are also applying for EAD and AP. There are seperate forms for these, but the fees are included with your AOS. See the above guides for copies of forms.

I listed the same reason as tipsy "in case of family illness or other emergency". I picked a date out of the blue, I belive I put March 25th in as far as time of travel. She really does not plan to go back until fall unless we are unable to get a visa for her mom to visit her in which case the 3/25 date would be about right.

12/14/2006 Applied for K-1 with request for Waver for Multiple filings within 2 years.
Waiting - Waiting - Waiting

There are guides here that tell you how to fill out the form, however, I really think people need to keep it simple. It says in part 7 to write on a separate piece of paper how you qualify for Advance Parole. For me, the fact that I have elderly parents, qualified me as if there was an emergency I would like to travel home without it affecting my status. I guess you just need a simple and good reason.

Also I did actually put "unknown" for travel dates, as how would you know when there was going to be an emergency.
