Now that we have NOA2...

Our NOA2 was delayed compared to most time lines on this website, but we are just happy to finally get it!

My fiance (in America) is worried because she heard something about having to have copies of basically everything we sent them in the 129f. Is this true? We still have the 'evidence' and birth certificates etc, but the actual forms we filled in we have no copies. Is this a problem?

My fiance is also worried that if she takes a college course, would it look bad on our proof of support? She would still work full time.

Do I (in Scotland) get Packet 3 or does my fiance in America? What is required of us in Packet 3?

Visa Journey recommends that you have a copy of the entire I-129f packet that was submitted to the service center. This is a "nice to have" but not necessary.

As long as your fiance meets the 125% poverty guidelines for 2008, you have nothing to worry about. Outside activities have no bearing on approvals. They want the facts. Can she financially support you. If yes, you are fine.

Packet 3 will be delivered to you via mail. When you receive it, there will be a list of paperwork that you must complete and return to them and a checklist listing documents that you need to gather to bring with you to your interview. One thing that you really need is the police certificate, which I would recommend you order ASAP. They take around 40 days to get.

Here is the link for the Packet 3 scans. The pages are a bit out of order but they are all there: http://www.visajourney.com/gallery/thumbna...y&uid=30186

You can go to the London Embassy website to download the forms you need to send back with Packet 3.

thanks for that..

but just to clarify one thing... the scans of packet 3 say something like 'we can now begin to start processing your fiance', which implies that my fiance living in America gets packet 3. But you said I will get packet 3 in Scotland?

I am the beneficiary.

You will get packet 3. The only thing your fiance will do after NOA2 is the I-134 and provide any evidence she has of the relationship (aka passport, pictures, etc.). Once you receive packet 3 you will need to get all the paperwork together and fax back to them what they request to get your interview date.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;page=k1guide view that and scroll down to "What to send to your fiance(e) once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2)" that list will be for your fiance to send you.

Good Luck!!
