Help! fiance lost his job the day i was planning to file!

I just arrived back in the States last night, and was planning on sending in our completed i-129F and the rest of the application for the K-1. However, my fiance just called me this morning and told me that his employer of 5 years has let him go. (nice, holiday cheer right?)

So do I need to have him re-do all his forms for the G-325 and have him send them to me, or can I proceed because the form says "Until Present Time' and he will be working there technically for the next few days.

I guess it would be okay to just redo the forms, but I'm worried that it will be damaging that he is unemployed.

Any suggestions?

You are the one responsible for him ........to prove you can provide once he is here

Makes no difference if foreign citizen is employed or not in the foreign country, and no need to re do the G-325A form, they do not contact employers, and acording to your post, your fiancee is employed at the time they signed the G-325A.

Dont worry about this, and file the petition.

Yup, just file it. If there were large gaps in his employment, they might ask him about what he was doing those months/years, but if there is a gap from here onward, they may never know it. I don't recall at the moment if employement history is part of what you submit to the embassy when that times comes though.

Just file here. The interest for the K1 is whether you are able to support him here financially not his job there.
