Okay peeps!!!!

After a lot of thought, a long conversation with Hicham at lunch and some shoving from Sereia, I'm going to start making arrangements for me and our son to go for a visit in February or March. I've got to work on finding a house sitter and making the arrangements at work.

I usually book through Orbitz. Do ya'll have other suggestions? Keep your paws crossed we can find a good fare.

I do HATE that I still have to pay two weeks of tuition at our son's school even though he's not going to be there. That's a loss of $500 right there.

It's been over a year since I've seen Hicham. We've been joking that we have missed each other so much that when we are together again...somebody might get hurt!!!!!!!

My grandmother is going to be PPPPPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDD though!

She wouldn't talk to me for two weeks the last time that I went and I took our son who was 8 months at the time. Not looking forward to getting ####### from her. She's just so attached to our son that she doesn't want us traveling anywhere. She was pissed when we traveled to Charleston, SC for a weekend this summer! JEEZ!

I'm also not looking forward to the flight back since my son will be awake for most of that. How much legal drugs can I give him to knock him out??????? Just kidding!

Well Grams might just have to be unhappy for a bit while her grandson sees his dad!

Great news! Hope that you will find a good deal. Try this number for Royal Air Moroc in NY (212) 974-3850. Just spoke with them and was told that at the beginning of January they will have more info regarding new promotions - good luck.

I took my girls to Disney when they were 3 and 4 years old. Actually my parents took us. Anyhoo I gave them Benadryl hoping it would knock them out AND prevent the pain they get if their ears pop but it had the opposite effect and they were up and cranky the entire time.

Maybe a better strategy would be to keep him up as long as possible without any naps whatsoever until you board the plane? Then hopefully the hum of the airplane will lull him and keep him sleepin' the whole time?

I'm so glad you're going. I don't know how you do it. Seriously if it were me I think I'd have to sell the house and move to Morocco 'cause I couldn't bear to keep daddy and son apart. Take TONS of pictures so that he'll have them to look at all the time once you're back!

How long will you stay? This is just the thing you need to get through this nightmare. I made sure I went there once a year after our denial. My husband would beg me to come again after just a few months after being gone because a year is so long, but if I want to keep my job I didn't have much choice.

I hope you can just relax and enjoy life as a married couple. I hope your nightmare is over soon.

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'
