Do we both need to write the letter of intent? We never sent it with the petiton when we filed. We should be receiving our packet within a week or so :)

WE BOTH DID BUT INCLUDED IT IN ORIGINAL APPLICATION, you still can and he can take to interview, but i doubt they look at it

I would have ones for the interview, it is a requirement for the I-129F, lucky that you did not get an RFE for it, the VO at the consulate may look for it in the file sent to them by NVC and may request it if none in the file.

B. Provide original statements from you and your fiancé(e)whom you plan to marry within 90 days of his or her admission, and copies of any evidence you wish to submit to establish your mutual intent;

The sample is what a lot of people use, it should work fine for you. You each need to sign one. Some people combine both letters of intent into one letter, and that should be fine too. Just make sure there are 2 signatures and 2 dates.
