Hey Folks,

I am preparing to send my "Notarized" I-134 along with my "Notarized" tax transcript,

BUT, I noticed the Rev level in the Upper Right corner is "Exp. 04-30-07",

I went to USCIS & Visajourney,

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...00045f3d6a1RCRD

Both are the same !

Any suggestions ?

I have read the DS-2000 of other people, and I have read the I-134,

I want to do just like they tell me,

1. Bank Statement - Date opened, total amount deposited in the last year, present balance. I have

2. Employer Letter - date & nature of employment, Salary, full or part time. "Pending"

3. Last years "official" IRS Tax transcript. I have

Are pay stubs necessary ?

I don't see any mention of these !

I have heard many people say 3 years ( which I have ), but will ONE suffice ?

I know the I-134 has to be "notarized", and I will ask the Notary to also "notarize my tax transcript(s)".

I have heard suggestions about doing duplicate I-134's,

Any suggestions ?

I also intend on sending a new "Letter of intent to marry", ALSO stating that we're "Engaged",

Have I missed anything ? Any other suggestions ?

You guys are Great !

Thanks

Miduvil

Just use the latest version of the I-134 from the USCIS website.

Pay stubs are used to prove income.

I think that most people send more than one year's tax info to be on the safe side. You can get tax transcripts for free from the IRS so I think people just send it to be on the safe side. Tax transcripts do not need to be notarized.

You can go ahead and do duplicate I-134s but the consulate only needs one.

Another letter of intent is a good idea

The form you are using is valid, if you look at this part of the link you provided:

Edition Date :

2/28/07. Versions 12/04/06, 7/14/06 and 6/17/06 are also acceptable.

The latest available I-134 form is the 2/28/07, but they take forms that were made back in 06. Look at the edition date on your form to make sure it's one of those four dates.

What I am sending with my I-134 (It's a little excessive but extra proof never hurts):

-my last 3 paystubs (most recent)

-the last 3 years of tax transcripts (free from IRS here )

-letter from employer

-letter from bank

-last year's 1040 tax return with W-2's (redundant if you are getting transcripts but again, just extra evidence)

The paystubs and tax transcripts are extra evidence, and are free to get so why not? :) Can only help you!

I included copies of the last three tax transcripts and my last six paystubs to cover current pay info. I did not have the tax transcripts notarized. As for duplicates of the I-134...just make sure you have a complete copy of the entire packet for your records (we actually made two full copies so that if we received an RFE for something we had already submitted, we could easily pull it from one of the copies).
