I was told via email by an Officer that I should allow 30 days for my NOA2 paperwork to be sent to the NVC. The officer referred to not sending out papers individually, but by crates (as said here before).

Is 30 days the latest turn around for most of you with NOA2's from CSC??

Should I expect to wait the entire 30 days or maybe a little more/less??

I was told to wait until up to 90 days.

Took about 6 weeks and change for me. Just be patient.

It can take between 2-8 weeks actually. The average I've seen lately here on VJ has been 6 weeks. You can call the NVC every week (or everyday if you want to) to find out.

Says 2 weeks on the K-1 flowchart: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...amp;page=k1flow

I would not be surprised if it is longer considering the receipting delays caused by the flood of petitions this past July.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

so it takes about 6 weeks for a crate to fill up? Damn, how freaking big are these crates!? lol

I emailed the same Officer back last night and asked him if he thought it would be sent before Christmas, he hasnt even emailed me back yet...normally he writes back within 24 hours. :(

wouldn't the "6 weeks" be very different for everyone?? if u were approved 1 week before the crate filled up then wouldnt your wait time be one week?? how can it be a steady 6?

Yup.. For a lucky few, it only took a few days.. All depends on pure luck.

that´s not so easy to say...they don´t seem to be filling just one crate cuz petitions that were approved later often reach NVC earlier ...so try to be patient it might take a while but you will get there :) good luck

Its all relative, you must be more patient than that. I mailed my package to the NSC 8 days before you and never heard a thing regarding an NOA2 so its odd you are getting this worried about being at the NVC yet. There is no set timeline.

Edited by DKM

Visa took too long, grew apart and withdrew visa after six months.

I'm not "worried"...I just want to get everything moving. It's not like the waiting process gets easier after you get an NOA2. I feel for u that you haven't received your NOA2. That sucks...and I wish u the best. But don't think once you get the NOA2 that the worrying and anxiousness disappear.

But oh, how it will be gone once you look into your sweetheart's eyes and say "I do".... *all dreamy*

or is it when the AoS gets approved?

Green card in mail?

Conditions lifted?

hmm....

It's been over 30 days for me now. Once my girl is here to live with me...I don't give a damn about the rest of the process and I could wait forever if I have too. The only thing that matter is that she is living with me.

They're holding up that crate for me and few more of us. As you said, yes, it could take a little more or a little less. You just have to be patient. Try my strategy: What ever the rumour is for the longest duration, believe it and add 30 more days. Then you'll be happy when the next gate opens sooner. I expected my 2nd NOA on 5 January. I was very happy to discover it on the 7th of December.
