Yet another tax question

Which do you think is more important to the embassy: Current income or consistent income.

I just started a job in Feb 2007.

Before 2007 my income was dismal to non existent.

I have evaluation letters from my supervisors raving about me, I'm not on probation, I make enough to meet the guidelines... I can get a letter from my employer and show stubs from the last 6 months as well as plenty of money in the bank AND child support. Will they even bother taking any of this into consideration?
