US Immigration from Egypt

Hi There! We just received the appointment notice for my husband's biometrics. We filed the I-751 (CR1) on May 12th. His biometrics appointment is scheduled for June 12th. Is this a good or bad sign that it is moving quickly? I was thinking we wouldn't hear anything for at least a year.

Hi there! We filed out I-751 on 5/12/25 and received our NOA I-797C 5/23/25. I was hoping it would state an extension on my husband's greencard (2 year, CR1) as it is set to expire in July. The NOA does not mention anything about extending the greencard. Is there another step we need to complete to prove there is an extension in place?

We are filing to remove the conditions from my husband's 2 year green card. He entered the US on a CR1 visa in July, 2023. My question is, for the packet, we plan to include photos along with other proof of our marriage.

When we originally filed for the CR1 visa, we included a good amount of photos for the first 5 years of our relationship and marriage. Do I need to include those again? Or can I simply include photos from the time he has entered the states?

Me and My wife have been married for 4 years . She is 12 years older but we love each other so much . The interview is coming and I want to know if this age gap is a red flag ? and if the evidence we have is enough ?

I live in egypt . We have many selfie pics in different place , chat logs , voice and video calls , just 1 picture of friends gathering ( we are introverts ) , she sent me money 3 times , she visited me 3 times ,4 non notarized affidavits , messages between me and her mom and also with her niece , texts from my friends to her .

Are those considered enough evidence or no ?

My parents dont know due to the cultrual difference but I am planning to tell them .

Hello all,

Did anyone receive any similar forms like us, which stated that our application was refused under A "221(g)" visa refusal, as in the attached file.
Even though we have submitted everything, they sent us back our pictures, and they mentioned that my fianc needs to bring evidence of our relationship to the interview.
Is that a normal process at the Cairo, Egypt embassy?

Also, they scheduled our appointment for July. Can we ask the embassy to have an earlier appointment?
