SLEC XRay abnormality help

So, my fiance did her medical at SLEC today and they said she had a slight abnormality and asked her to come back to due the sputum test/2 month culture. thing is, her xray last june was clear and her dr. says the spotting is likely from pneumonia she had when she was very young. do we have any options? any way we can obtain outside documentation/proof of what the spot was caused by to satisfy SLEC requirement?

Sorry but no other options.  Your fiancé will have to go through sputum testing/ 2 month culture.

As stated ... No you do not have any options.  SLEC procedures are dictated by CDC .    Complete SPUTUM and move forward with life.

 

As a side note, SLEC x-ray machines are much more advanced that what is found at the majority of doctors or labs.

Sorry, but there are no other options. This is a big curve ball for you guys but remember that TB KILLS!! Like Hank said, this is a CDC requirement and SLEC has no say in the decision, they must perform the sputum test.

She was vaccinated when she was younger though, so I think there's no way it can be a positive for tb? Seems that might not be the crux of the matter either way. Alas. Thanks all.
