Ok thanks. Let's keep each other posted. I hope they process it quickly. I called and they told me about the missing passport copy so I didn't wait for the checklist. I just submitted it. How about you? Did you get the checklist via email?

The NVC received all my documentation (civil and financial) on June 29. I called them yesterday and it was a coincidence that they reviewed my case yesterday as well. They told me that I have a checklist as a result of a missing passport copy for the beneficiary. I submitted it today via FedEx(overnight shipping). My Embassy is the US Embassy in Islamabad. Do you think they will first clear the checklist and then schedule an interview with the Embassy or would they schedule an interview anyway with the Embassy and ask the Beneficiary to bring the passport copy?

Since they confirmed it to you that it is a CHECKLIST, your case couldn't be forwarded to embassy. It's good that you already submitted the document they asked for. Also there will be a new scan date from the date they receive your document. Hope the process speeds up.

Best of luck

Any update from the NVC about your case?

The additional document that they asked for was scanned on 08/11/17. Still nothing....I heard that they usually review 3rd or 4th week of the month.
