hello i just want to ask...we already have the approved petition and we already received the I-797

now we are waiting for the NVC letter where we can get our case number ..to start process the visa.

Please tell me how long it will take to wait.because it has been a month already. I wonder what it took

it long? please help us?

If it been a month since your petition was approved, then you can call the NVC to get your case number. For K1 visa processing, typically you will get an email telling you what documents you need to prepare and your interview date.

Call NVC, don't wait for the letter. I received the letter about a month after my then-fiancee had arrived here in the USA (so about 4 months after it had arrived at NVC).

October 23, '18: NOA2- approval

October 30, 18: 10-year GC received

Thank for the replies ....but my fiance is currently on board in the ship for his job and he is not in US as of this time...can i call the NVC to get the case or let him call to get the case number?

Yes, you can call the NVC. It doesn't have to be him.

does NVC letter need for the medical and interview??? do i need to have that on hand even if i already have the case number???

You don't need the NVC letter for anything. You just need the case # for the medical (and maybe the interview, I don't know the process in Manila).
