Hey all. Sent package on 15 July, received 16 July & email/text received today. CSC! Very thankful considering everything I've read about Texas & associated wait times. F is from Colombia & I've heard very good things about the interview process, etc. Hopefully we can get this behind us in time for Christmas. I didn't go overboard with evidence. My promise letter, her promise letter & her passport with B2 (tourist) visa stamps showing her lawfully arriving & lawfully departing. We did meet online but not through a IMB but rather a dating site (Colombian cupid....I always liked South American women) which doesn't qualify as IMB so....HOPEFULLY everything goes smoothly.

Well, I am hoping I don't received an RFE for a dating site. I read some post on FB that USCIS request for evidence regarding with IMB (whatever they call it) such as cherryblossom.com and filipinocupid.com. I met my F through a dating site (filipinocupid.com), but we have more than 1 evidence that he is coming back and forth in PH every 3-4 months.

This link should be able to answer your questions on paying the fees http://www.visajourney.com/content/paying-immigration-fees

The filing fee is $340 dollars (as stated here: http://www.uscis.gov/i-129f) and checks/money orders should be made out to U.S. Department of Homeland Security

If you have any other questions, there are also lots of useful links with detailed steps here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/300-general-k1-guides-and-info/ . They certainly helped me along the way.

I hope this was helpful and answered your questions :)

Hi everyone!

Okay, so received hard copy of NOA1 last week. It was originally sent to Lewisville lockbox facility so for that reason I assumed it was being filed at TSC. However, on the hard copy of NOA1, USCIS lists their address (bottom left corner of form) as California Service Centre. I never received a notice of transfer or anything to that effect, does this mean that my petition is being routed through CSC?

Yup! Your case was routed to the California Center. And announcement was made that effective March 27, 2015 new cases would begin to be routed to CSC due to the workload at TSC. The announcement can be read here: http://www.uscis.gov/news/alerts/workload-transfer-within-service-center-operations

Does your receipt # begin with WAC? If so, that also lets you know that it was routed to the California Service Center and not the Texas Service Center.
