Washington Navy Yard complex put on lockdown

Police have responded to reports of shots fired at the Navy Yard military installation in southeast Washington, D.C., on Thursday.

The U.S. Navy confirmed Thursday morning that the complex is on lockdown, but said no incident could yet be confirmed.

According to The Washington Post, the call came in around 7:40 a.m. Police have closed roads surrounding the complex.

The Navy Yard was also the site of a deadly September 2013 shooting in which gunman Aaron Alexis shot and killed 12 workers before being killed by police.

The situation is developing.

False Alarm maybe, All clear for now.

The question now is whether there was some kind of probe being made. Muslims do that on the airlines to judge what the reaction would be. Muslims are also known to stage a walk thru in advance of an actual attack.

I continue to be shocked at the number of people who hold the opinion that military bases are well defended here in the U.S. The soldiers/marines etc don't have weapons on them. Google the term armory.

Ft. Hood ain't the DC Navy yard. Incidentally, there was an attack carried out on that Navy yard a couple years back and incidentally, it was not carried out by Muslims. Thus my surprise over the conclusion you immediately jumped to. Well, I wasn't really surprised seeing who did the jumping.

So, even though non-Muslims make up 99% of the mass shootings, why are Muslims being blamed for this?
