I'm not German, but with a May 8 approval date, I don't think you'll be cutting it close at all. I don't think you have reason to worry ☺️ You've still got plenty of time before it expires and I'm sure they'll extend the validity period for you!!

We were approved on i think may 6th and ours expire in August (assume your will too) BUT I've read thousands of times that the embassy can "longer" that date so I really don't think you need to worry.

Try instead get the documents ready so that you can fast get your interview date :)

We were at Nvc for about 3/4weeka before we heard anything!

You're not stuck. We took a while at NVC, and I never called them or tried to track, just waited until they notified us.

We had 4 weeks between NOA2 and notification that documents had left NVC, you also have 4 weeks now. It will arrive very soon.

The rest goes in a flash. 2 days after leaving NVC the documents arrive at the consulate, you mail your documents the same day, if you're better organized than me, 2 days later you can schedule the interview and there's hardly time to fit in the medical.

Do you have the police certificate and I-134 yet?
