There is no deadline. As long as they've not run out of visas and next September (2015) has not come (it might be August or July, but anyway you're alright).

Not sure about the birth date, I'd call them and ask to be honest.

Born in Romania, been living in the US since 2007 (F1 visa)

F1 visa 2007-2011, 2011-2016 - OPT received August 25, 2014

DV-2015 Selectee - Case Number EU30,7xx - Interview estimate: May/June 2015 (?) - Might try to do AOS though it looks like it might be worse this year

Your English is fine, explain it how you have explained it to us.

Do not send in your DS260 later than four months before the end of the fiscal year ie no later than end-May 2015. Although there is technically no expiry date if they have not processed and scheduled you before they have allocated all visa numbers you may not get an interview.

Hi SusieQQQ, I already read a lot about the DV lottery, and thought I had it figured out. Since I'm getting married in October I'm waiting to fill my DS260 until I am married. Because, as I understand, as long as there is enough time between your expected interview month and end of the fiscal year you'll be ok. Now I came across something a consular officer said. Read question 1 on this page: http://www.dvlotteryinfo.com/dv-program-questions-answers/

He implies if you don't submit your DS260 early enough you might not get a chance. Now the guy asking the question has a low CN but still...

My CN is EU33XXX by the way. What are your thoughts about this?

I think you'd be fine but I am not sure when you will get interviewed, I'm not expert on EU numbers. It may be that they are becoming more sticky about interviewing past the month of being current now that demand is so high. To be on the safe side you may want to submit it now and update it when you get married.
