Hi Guys,

Last month after that the case was completed in NVC,and was waiting for a visa availability I upgraded my petition for my husband from F2A to IR(imediate relative)(send & email them a copy of my certificate of Naturalization).

They replied to my email in the following way 2 weeks ago:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

This petition is currently undergoing additional processing. We will send further instructions once this processing is completed.

I'm a bit worried about their reply and also i don't know how i can check to see whether they have upgraded my petition or not.

What do you suggest me to do? Do you think it means Administrative Processing? (I just saw that word a couple of minutes ago on this forum)

Thanks,

Mitra

They're probably just checking to confirm you are indeed a USC now.

I have the same situation with the NVC.

I filed 1-130 for my wife in April, 2009. It was approved in August 2010 by USCIS. Then the NVC completed all the paperwork needed at Oct, 2010. Fortunately I became a citizen in Nov 9th. Then I sent the upgrade (certificate copy and both bio-info of mine and my wife such as the case number, date birth blahblah etc)to them. Today i recieved an email saying that the case in underview and when the review is done appropriate steps will taken. But when I called the customer service, it said that my case was reviewed and information missing or incomplete was found and a letter was mailed to me.

I am very upset and frustrated here. Please let me if somebody have seen this scenerio. thanks in Advance

To be more clear they have every damn paper that you would think of and all forms were filled. CASE COMPLETE and WAS INLINE FOR VISA AVAILABILITY...... Plus I talked to a live person that said somebody put yourcase under review but we have what we need and I also have emails and physical letter of their reply through my senator saying that they have all the paperwork or documents that they need for the processing but my for my curiosity that the heck is going on.If anyone have the brains or have experienced BS before. thanks
