Hey guys

I requested the police clearance under section 14 thing and asked for a copy to be sent to the Consulate and one for myself but got an email reply saying that it has been sent to the Consulate but they do not send them to the individual? Did anyone get a copy of theirs?

Same here, copy sent straight to consulate.

I am thinking that I need to contact the consulate to confirm they have received it. Last thing I want is to arrive for the interview and the consulate have no record of the police clearance.

Hey! Its an old topic but did you receive any confirmation about the police clearance before your interview?

Because that happened with me - arrive for the interview and they did not have the police clearance. I did get the letter that it had been forwarded to the Auckland embassy. So I have no idea what happened with it. I passed my interview otherwise but that one police certificate is the hold up now. I already sent the e-mail to Auckland embassy (after trying to call them for 30 minutes but no luck talking to a person, just stuck in endless circle of machine responses) but it would be great to know how was your experience. I'm so frustrated and disappointed right now :(

Yes, I got a confirmation email from the NZ police to say that they had sent the information to the embassy. No indication of the contents though.

I got nothing from the embassy directly. I found the best way to contact them was via email.
