i-129f package should I include beneficiary birth certificate?

I see a video from a lady from mexico and she was saying that  her petitioner got a rfe because he didnt include her birth cerficate traslate and original with the i-129f ? so WHAT i do?

You need to include a certified copy of your birth certificate AND a translation. Just google it and you will find places that can translate your birth certificate. Did you already submit your petition?

Yours as the petitioner yes

his as the beneficiary no

 

My guesses are;

I have never heard of an rfe about this. So the video maybe old? Or some other reason for asking for thatmight have happened?

is from may of 2017, that's why I'm thinking it may be needed, but everyone is saying we don't need it.

Why would you translate it to Spanish? The petitioner needs to proof his US Citizenship with his/her American birth certificate and the beneficiary needs to include a certified copy of their foreign birth certificate with an English translation.

what if I have a birth certificate from another country because I born in Colombia should I include that with my package? or they would not care, I include my us passport and my certificate of naturalization.

I was born in Germany, and became a naturalized citizen in the US. I never had a birth certificate, and it is not needed, just copies of all US passport pages, and naturalization paper (front and back)
