Forgot to send a document during the initial filing. Can I send it before inevitable RFE?

Well, some people would advocate others to send in missing documents to avoid RFE just because they got lucky with it. Frankly, it might just be a tad more prudent to only mail the required documents upon receiving the RFE notice. Besides, what you think might cause a RFE might end up not causing you one.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

We forgot to send full proof of USC - only a passport photo page scan, not the whole thing or the birth certificate. I'm also pretty sure our proof of relationship will be insufficient. With two separate mistakes will this mean a much longer delay? I'm so angry at myself for not being more thorough. Wish I'd discovered this forum a couple of weeks ago!

Once we have NOA1, can I call them and explain?

I would suggest just send in documents when or if you get RFE. I sent our I-130 documents without checking VJ before as well (well i didnt know about it nor research at all). I just followed the I-130 instructions. The only proof of relationship we sent was Marriage Certificate and Tenancy Agreement.

For NVC part, we found out that we sent the wrong AOS form (864ez instead of 864), we didnt send it right away, we waited for checklist, glad that checklist is just to bring to interview, we have CC already :)

You should wait until you get the actual RFE, if you receive one. If you send it before hand it most likely won't get matched up with your case.
