What docs should my fiancee translate before she comes here? I tried to find something related before I start a new topic, but everything seems to be about the process before getting visa.

She went to university - will she need to translate her diploma?

She worked in two banks - does she need anything from them to be translated?

What about medical documents? Anything else?

I dont think you will be allowed to be with her. They might find translator or someone who could help. And I don't think there will be lots of questioning during POE.

I would look at things needed for AOS to see if there are things in that list. We needed a divorce decree translated. He made sure all of his things were translated just in case. We had to send his college transcripts to WES when he arrived (they evaluated and gave American credits to his foreign transcript). I think that might have been translated. That's what I can think of off the top of my head.

If they need help, and you are waiting in the arrival hall, she can mention that, or have her take a note with your information on it to let them know you are there. I have waited in many international arrival halls, and occasionally, I see an officer come out asking for someone and take them back inside with them. Of course, I don't know why, but I assume it is for translating purposes.

As to documents translated beyond what you have already done for the K1, I think it might be a good idea to get diplomas translated if you plan on using them for future activities. I would also have any other official document translated as it may be cheaper and easier to do it there rather than here.
