Hopefully someone can help us.

We are about to send the AOS package tomorrow.

I was reading the instructions of I-485 and it says that biometric form is required along with the fees.

Instructions of I-765 & I-131 says the same thing,so we are confuse.

Do we have to send 3 biometric forms with 3 money orders for $85.00 each???

Samething with the form G-1145???

Thank you.

There is no biometric form, only a biometric fee which is just once. It's $85. Add $985 for the I485 fee for a total of $1070. I sent a G1145 form for each application, so a total of 3 of those.

**Many folks do just fine sending in only sending in one (1) G-1145, eNotification of Petition/Application Acceptance. My wife and stepson send in only one for each of their AOS packages, and we were blessed to receive six (6) receipts = 3@.

BTW, one biometric fee is adequate, review the USCIS instructions literally : http://www.uscis.gov/i-485

Good luck on your immigration journey.

You have to submit a G-325A with the I-485. You do not submit a G-325.

You are now asking about two different forms, don't confuse yourself:

  • G-1145, e-Notification of Application/Petition (send one with your AOS/EAD/AP application)
  • G-325A, Biographic Information (send one with your AOS/EAD/AP application)

As previously mentioned, there is no Biometrics Form(?)

:guides:, in particular the K1/K3 AOS Guide

Good luck on your immigration journey.

The biometric fee is for the biometric services appointment (they will take your fingerprints and pics) that you will get in a next step.

The biographic information form (G-325A) is about your info (name, parents, etc...if you come from the K-1 visa process, you already used the form G-325A).

Thank you for the clarify that.

My case is not based on K-1 visa.

I'm out of status right now,I came here legally 20 years ago and now I just married with an US citizen.
