I just found out today that our I-130 was also sent to Nebraska, and, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I was told that Nebraska is one of the slowest Service Centres. Sorry : (

I keep hearing complains about Texas too, but... Shanelle is right. Nebraska is slowest by far.

At least you have VJ and the peeps here that wonderfully helpful in the process.

I am curious as to how it is decided to which service centre your I-130 is processed through? Anyways, yes, great peeps here on VJ, and, I must remind myself "patience" is a virture, and, of course, prayer is BIG in the picture!! : )

Sorry to hear about your wee one :( I hope it's all under control, but, still a worry. I've heard that attorneys can sometimes be a hindrance. I wish you all the best in this and will pray for your case.

my case was sent to Nebraska to when I first started out, I was also told they were the slowest, but to my surprise within 5 months my case was approved, being that all the service centers are flooding nvc with approved cases maybe you all might get a case approved by 5-6 months ,just keeping hanging in there its not easy, but it'll go by fast before you know it if you stop counting and checking everyday, that is what I did to help me through the wait :-)
